About: Meet Barefoot Contessa! This sweet senior shepherd came to us from another shelter, and she’s estimated to be around 10 years old. Contessa is ready to find a cozy couch to call her own and spend her days lounging in comfort. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but her true love is people. Contessa is all about comfort and would be happiest in a home where she can relax and enjoy the good life. She loves to be pampered, bathed, and just all around loved on.

How to Help Them This Year!

Step 1: Choose the pet you’d like to support from our Angel Tree and add them to your cart. 

Step 2: Pick how you’d like to give.

• Shop on your own
• Browse our site and shop online at checkout select Local Pickup and write “Angel Tree” in the notes.
• Shop in-person!
  
• Let Modern Companion build their basket: Select the $40 “Build My Basket” option and we’ll create a curated gift based on their wishlist.

Step 3: Get your gifts to us by December 20. You can send your items to the store or shop in person. Once we receive your gifts or your basket fee, we’ll mail you a small ornament with their photo for your tree. We’ll handle delivery of all gifts to the rescue.
