About: Grumpy’s journey began with uncertainty and fear. At only eight weeks old, she arrived at the rescue sick with Panleukopenia, a deadly virus, and extremely feral. With dedicated care, Grumpy survived, though she now lives with cerebellar hypoplasia—a neurological condition that affects her coordination. Despite the wobbles, Grumpy is full of life, managing each day with determination and a dash of sass. She dreams of a special owner who understands her needs and appreciates her unique way of moving through the world. Grumpy’s Christmas wishes include a safe, understanding home, tasty meals, and engaging toys to brighten her days.

How to Help Them This Year!

Step 1: Choose the pet you’d like to support from our Angel Tree and add them to your cart. 

Step 2: Pick how you’d like to give.

• Shop on your own
• Browse our site and shop online at checkout select Local Pickup and write “Angel Tree” in the notes.
• Shop in-person!
  
• Let Modern Companion build their basket: Select the $40 “Build My Basket” option and we’ll create a curated gift based on their wishlist.

Step 3: Get your gifts to us by December 20. You can send your items to the store or shop in person. Once we receive your gifts or your basket fee, we’ll mail you a small ornament with their photo for your tree. We’ll handle delivery of all gifts to the rescue.
