Angel Tree: Maggie Mae

About: 15-year-old Maggie Mae's owner passed away. She went to live with the owner's brother, and then he passed away. The owners wife took her to a high kill shelter, who contacted us as she was emaciated and covered with fleas. Her hair was so matted she could barely see and was in pain to walk. Maggie is also deaf. Because she is deaf she prefers to lay in the floor where she can feel vibrations to sense her surroundings. She could use thin mats to lay on. She also loves playing with soft toys and enjoys treats. She could use vitamins and hip and joint supplements as well. Maggie is not adoptable, she is living out her golden years enjoying life at the sanctuary!

How to Help Them This Year!

Step 1: Choose the pet you’d like to support from our Angel Tree and add them to your cart. 

Step 2: Pick how you’d like to give.

• Shop on your own
• Browse our site and shop online at checkout select Local Pickup and write “Angel Tree” in the notes.
• Shop in-person!
  
• Let Modern Companion build their basket: Select the $40 “Build My Basket” option and we’ll create a curated gift based on their wishlist.

Step 3: Get your gifts to us by December 20. You can send your items to the store or shop in person. Once we receive your gifts or your basket fee, we’ll mail you a small ornament with their photo for your tree. We’ll handle delivery of all gifts to the rescue.
