Bring your pups out to Modern Companion Pet Boo-tique for a day full of tricks with plenty of treats. Come dressed in costume to enter our costume contest to win extra goodies for fido, take some spooky pictures with our photo-op, and enjoy our halloween activities! The fun doesn't stop at our door, take a walk around outside for pet trunk or treat featuring a number of local businesses!
Activities
Pet + Human Costume Contest
Compete for most creative costume, funniest costume, or best group costume to win a prize! We'll snap a picture of your costume and put it up online for a public vote. Whoever gets the most votes wins!
Pet Friendly Trunk or Treat
We're bringing out some local businesses we love to hand out treats to your pets! Walk around the lot and check out the businesses up the boardwalk. They may have something special for you!
Photo Ops
We want to help you capture memories of your hard work! We know it's not easy getting a costume on your pet (trust us) so we're setting up an adorable spooky photo op to be the perfect backdrop for your pictures.
Interested in being a part of our Trunk or Treat?
We're looking for local businesses that love pets to come out and join us! We would need you to be able to set up outside in our lot with some goodies to pass out for trunk or treat! If you do not have goodies of your own to hand out, you are welcome to reach out to Modern Companion and we will provide treats for you at a small fee.

Where is this event?
We'll be celebrating at 508B Lexington Ave in Chapin, SC. Trunk or Treat will set up in front of Modern Companion Pet Boutique!
What time is this event?
The event runs from 1-3, trunk or treat participants will need to be available from 12-4 for set up and take down!
Where do I park?
Part of our parking lot will be blocked off for our trunk or treat. The rest of the lot is free for you to use!
How do I know if it's right for my pet?
If your pet is friendly with others and likes to go on outings, they'll love Howl-o-ween! If your pet doesn't love other dogs or people, they may prefer to stay home but you are still welcome to come shop and browse our trunk or treat vendors.
Is this kid friendly?
Kids are welcome at this event but they are not the main focus. Not all of our vendors will offer candy or treats for humans. This trunk or treat is focused on pets!
Is there a cost to attend?
It is free to attend Howl-o-ween but our vendors would love for you to check out their businesses after trunk or treat! We also have plenty of pet goodies for sale inside our store. This event is a great opportunity to support small, local businesses!
How do I become a trunk or treat participant?
To join trunk or treat fill out the form above! Not every application will be accepted, those that are must pay the $20 fee within 5 days of acceptance.
